My holiday cards are in the mail.

59 cards are addressed, stamped, and dropped off in the mail this AM. This year I used paper culture. They estimated 7 days to print and 3-5 days shipping but they were on my doorstep in 4 days total. That is an amazing turnaround and they look fantastic. At Paper Culture every order plants a tree and you can dedicate your tree at the end of the order. That is a gift in itself.

I dedicated my tree to both of my grandparents. This is our first Christmas in our new house and I have been thinking a lot about how we will start new traditions and carry out old ones. It makes me miss going to my grandparents houses at Christmas time and makes me sad that none of them got to meet my daughter who is a bundle of joy and the star of my holiday cards.

Last year the post office had The Snowy Day holiday stamps which is one of Cassie’s favorite books. I even read it to her on the hottest day of the summer. They are available again this year which makes me so happy.

I also want to post this pink card layout which was a very close runner-up. Perhaps next year I will print this layout.
